Our fathers were our models for god...

Quick clink to the riders here that no longer have that paternal magnet in their lives. Today would have been my dad's 59th. Raise a glass to what you are because of both his presence and his absence.
In the spirit of the Mint, read that in which ever direction the mood fits.

We, my brother and sister and I, celebrated our father's 70th last month. The anniversary of his death is in two days. This is not a happy period of the year for any of us and I feel his loss more keenly now than at any other time.
I shall toast your dad and mine this evening, seed.

A good man. I'll raise one to him tonight as well.
