Vote early, vote often. Might as well get the entire team in the All-Star game. Righteous.

And before anyone tries to dig out the old tired "weak division" excuse... the Cubs opponents this year hold a 35 - 19 record. The best opponent record, the toughest schedule so far in baseball. And the best record in the majors.

I love the smell of ivy in the morning. Smells like victory.

Indeed. I believe the Cubs' have two-thirds of their games on the road between now and the All-Star break. That will test the pitching staff that I still believe to be untested. Big Z has been great, Dempster a total surprise. Lilly may have turned things around. But between you and me, excluding Zambrano, my gut cringes when I look down the line-up in need of a clutch win. Maybe I've gone through too many June-Swoons in my life time.

We'll see how it goes.

Hey Dutch
Since I have you on the line... what ever happened to that used smoke-wagon?

I need it like a booze-hound needs a cup of coffee.

Sorry, Been MIA, haven't checked email in two weeks... new job is an adjustment.

The weapon in question is not surrently on the market, but I have put out the feelers for others, including a possible hit on one for about $225 used in clean shape. It is a newer model than Bergeron's. Give me a call when you can.
